What is makhana?
Makhana, or fox nut, is the seed of a water lily. The seeds are harvested from ponds, roasted and popped into light, crunchy puffs.
Is Lello makhana fried?
No. Lello makhana is roasted, never fried, so every puff stays light and crisp.
Is it vegetarian?
Yes, every pack carries the green vegetarian mark.
Which makhana flavours contain milk or peanut?
Sour Cream & Onion contains milk (whey, milk solids, butter and cheese concentrate) and peanut protein. Peri Peri contains peanut protein. All flavours are made in a facility that processes tree nuts. Always check the pack.
How big is a pack, and what does it cost?
